Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your myEdenry account and all associated personal data at any time, directly from the app.

In the app

  1. Open myEdenry and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

This immediately and permanently deletes your account - you are logged out at once and there is no recovery period once confirmed. Uploaded photo files are queued for deletion in the same step and are typically removed within minutes, occasionally longer if our storage provider is briefly unavailable.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

  • Your account, profile, and login credentials.
  • Every garden, plant, location, container, and bed you created.
  • Your full journal and care event history, including voice-journal transcripts.
  • Your photos, identification records, and diagnosis cases.
  • Your wishlist, notification preferences, and usage history.

What may be retained

We do not currently retain any personal data after account deletion beyond what is technically necessary to complete the deletion process itself (typically within a few days) and minimal records we may be legally required to keep, such as for fraud prevention or tax/accounting purposes if a paid transaction existed on your account. As myEdenry has no paywall during the Founding Beta, this currently applies to essentially no beta accounts. Any such retained records exclude your garden content and are kept only as long as legally required.

No app access?

If you can no longer access the app (for example, you no longer have the device or cannot log in), email privacy@myedenry.com from the email address associated with your account and request deletion. We will verify your identity before processing the request and confirm once it is complete.

Data export

Before deleting your account, you can request an export of your garden data from Profile > Export my data, or by contacting us. We recommend exporting anything you want to keep before deleting your account, since deletion cannot be undone.
